Acrylic on Masonite board (7-1/2 inches X 12 inches)This is a picture that I was working on earlier this year, before I stopped painting again. Most of you who know me, know that I do not believe in anything supernatural. This is just an odd coincidence.
I have recently been communicating with a brother of mine, Robert, that I have been out of contact with for about 21 years now. I was unaware that he has now had two bouts with cancer. One nearly killing him, but he's managed to work his way past it. Good job Robert. And I am very thankful that he has. I've been reading things that he has written on line, and found us to be of strikingly like mind. Except, he is WAY smarter than I am. (that's not saying much, sorry for the insult Robert. lol)
Anyway, he has been talking to me about my art work, and kinda rekindled my interest in it. So I started going through the last paintings I was working on, and found this one. Seemed like a good time to post it. The title written on the back was "Cancer".

I do believe about the ESP for it happened to me a few times, but i think it works if both party/pple are thinking about each other at the same time...

As you may, or may not know, Jeff, my mother is currently battling lung cancer and although her hair is finally growing back, her eyes are still sunken and she's already been in and out of the hospital twice. This is all too good a depiction of what the disease does to the human body.

Nice to see *something* rekindling your interest. Good you could talk to your brother. Unfortunate he has had such dire health issues. Interesting surface textures & dramatic lighting.
