I still wonder how a Spider-Person's "surface clingy" power works through thick materials, like running shoes.
True — Stan Lee said he didn't know how spiders clung to sheer surfaces (via tiny hairs on their feet / legs) at the time he created the Amazing Spider-man (Spider-man 2099 addresses this with Miguel having hooks on his fingers), but seriously, it's like these Spider-People mutates have that fake Call of Duty gripper glove all over their body...
