Thank you! Apart from practicing fundamentals (lighting, values, anatomy etc) Id probably suggest doing material studies to differentiate stuff like the cloth and metals. In these paintings I really thought about how light catches on the form and starting with a black canvas painting in light helped with that. Bit hard to explain but thats how I kind of got this style.

with the metal and blending I used the smudge tool with a blend setting on it. Forgot how to set that but you can find out how online. You can also use a soft brush and color pick to blend. just color pick the middle color and softly blend in between the two tones.
