Description
This is a new drawing, re-creating my 1980 original from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons adventure S3: Expedition to the Barrier Peaks (TSR Hobbies, 1980).I chose to use a grey wash rather than crosshatching for the shading in this re-creation, as I've done in several of the others.

One of my favorite scenes from the module. I ran across this article on Grognardia awhile back: [link] and remember also mistaking the feather on the warrior's helm as a mental attack. It's really clear from your larger image that this isn't the case. Way to settle old debates!

This was one of my favorite illustrations in that module, though my favorite remains the big scene where the security robots are tossing the bullette out of the ship.
