Description
This is the first phase of my re-creation of the back cover artwork from the AD&D adventure module T1: Village of Hommlet. It's one of four color cover pieces that I'm re-creating as part of my latest Kickstarter project. As in the original piece, I'm beginning with a black and white, pen & ink drawing on illustration board. Phase 2 will involve adding watercolors to complete the piece.Prints of artwork from my Kickstarter projects are not available on DeviantArt until after the project backers have received their copies.

oh my, burne and rufus, my character started in the village of hommlet and i still have her now,i have the temple module which includes t1 but my dm had the original module

I SO remember this adventure.
The mighty adventuring pair who'd hit the high enough levels to settle down and begin building their own keep!
Also, the design of the keep has stuck in my mind forever as well.
In all the adventure was fantastically written, designed and (of course) illustrated.
