I admittedly don't like the blocky design itself, nor do I think she is as good as the original, but I absolutely love the details that have been put into this, and like her as a stand alone design..

I like the idea of a very realistic take on the enterprise form an engineering stand point. I think if Trek comes back to TV taking this approach would be very cool indeed.
I'm wondering on scale here. Is supposed to be inline with the general size of the TOS Enterprise? It's somewhat diffcult to say going by the windows.
I really like the warp engines, and the structural feel of the thrusters.

I like it. I tend to dislike round section on starships. Having worked on cars, I know how much space gets wasted trying to make everything pretty.

Thanks guys! Yeah, that always bugged me, too. I can understand about aircraft having to be smooth and round (although modern stealth aircraft is very planar...) I wanted to approach a re-design from an architectural sensibility... Got a long way to go on this, I'll post major updates as they come.
