I did this for Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Edge of Empire Far Horizons sourcebook.
The image was a lot fun to imagine and paint, but I will always remember it because my art director had a particular pose in mind that I wasn't quite getting, so she modeled some really fun (and spot-on, btw) shots for me.

Man, this is the kind of "behind the scenes" moment I'd like to see more in Star Wars. Just by watching the films and reading the books, you'd think Imperial Officers were all so harsh and serious...but this fleshes them out even more! XD

I tried to find a Star Wars planet that sounded like Casablanca, and Cattamascar (which is an actual Star Wars planet) was the closest sounding. The scene you drew reminded me of the movie! It would be funny if the Empire guys in the bar, suddenly heard about Alderaan exploding, and began singing the Empire theme song, only for the rest of the bar to join in, in singing the Star Wars theme song, like the Nazis and Frenchmen dueling their own national anthems in the movie.

One of my favorite scenes from Casablanca was Madeleine Le Beau leading La Marseillaise. If she had with her a blaster....
