I think a much longer exposure would have been more interesting. The HDRI glow are a matter of taste

Thanks! In fact, it's not HDR, just a single somewhat tweaked exposure.Β The sunset peeked out from behind the cloud cover for a very short time, and gave some really cool lighting. This was as long of a time exposure as I could get with a closed aperture and a low ISO.Β Β Β Β
I do agree though.Β I wish I had been ready and had my ND filter on the lens when I got there... a longer exposure was certainly what I had in mind before I saw the sunset fading fast behind a cloud.

i see, the glow behind te treeline just looks so much like the classic glow you gett from merging images into HDRs. At least you live fairly close, I am sure we will see a 2 minute exposure soon

lol yeah, that happens when I bring up the clarity a lot in ACR.Β It does have the same effect for sure, but this one needed clarity!
