Hey everyone- you may have already seen these illustrations on my blog Wicked Crispy, but I thought I would post them here too. Please feel free to add all the comments you like- I love hearing from people, and if you have any suggestions for future Bubblehead characters, let me know!Hey gang! I watched the movie "Ghost Rider" with some friends, and although I heard it was bad, I held out hope. I mean, a guy with a flaming skull riding a black devil motorcycle is one one of the coolest, most cinematic images I can think of. How bad could it be? Here's my two word movie review: Turd Sandwich.
But, it inspired me to do my rendition of Johnny Blaze as a Bubblehead, with a little 'Akira' homage thrown in for good measure! Hope ya like!

From a Ghost Rider fan, thank you for an accurate review of that thing they called movie. I knew something was wrong since I found out it was rated PG13. I mean even a one line synopsis of GR, "a guy makes a lousy pact with the devil which dooms him to transform into the spirit of vengeance to make bad souls pay", should be R. Anyways, your Bubblehead GR it's pure awesomeness!!!

I'm curious what they do with the next Ghost Rider movie. I just think Nic Cage is totally miscast. He's way way too old for the part. (And thanks for the compliment!

i had an idea like this as well, except he was on a burning big wheel. then, as he got older, he upgraded to a scooter and finally, a skateboard. great take on it...
