The third in my series of unconventional mermaids. This time it's a half eel, half nerdy girl. I am mainly doing these as a way to practice painting in photoshop, a new skill for me. I didn't try to make her "UGLY". I just tried to strip away the hollywood beauty and show some realism. I figured not every mermaid out there would look like Ariel...

Thank you! Yeah, I've got to keep working my digital painting muscles. The toughest thing about it is that it takes a lot longer than coloring in flash. What can I say, I'm an impatient artist, lol.
