Description
One of the most legendary comic talents of the 20th century, Mel Brooks done it all. Movies, theater, television, radio, and on and on. I wanted to pay tribute to this comedy master by depicting some of his most iconic characters from the films he directed. Do you have a favorite Mel Brooks movie? I LOVE Mel Brooks! He was one of my inspirations for comedy. I have all his movies. If I had to pick five favorites they'd be these:
1) Blazing Saddles
2) Young Frankenstein
3) History of the World Part 1
4) Spaceballs
5) Robin Hood: Men in Tights

One of my favorites is Silent Movie and High Anxiety, but the Dracula one always makes me laugh.

I love every single one of these movies! Mel Brooks is a comic genius! There will never be someone as good at parody. Those who made the stream
of terrible parody films (excluding Edgar Wright) from the last few years obviously didn't learn anything from the master.

This is ironic of Mel Brooks to "philosophize" about since he's Jewish IRL.

Problem is Bart is not really a relatable Charecter and that film spend more time on comedy.
I mean Dijango unchained Did it better

Some African Americans under went a lot of prejudice like he did and sadly some still do to this day. And plus on that whole comedy remark, it's not too bad I think that they did. Mel was never without good comedy.

Yeah Dracula and Robin Hood was his downfall.
Problem with parody is that it's because they try to shove Morden jokes one after the next.
Young Frankinstie works because it show a point of view of Frankinstie in a diffrent way.
But with Robin Hood and Dracula the jokes are predictable and also insulting to the Author or the history
