Description For a spooky treat, I wanted to track the progression of how vampires have evolved in films from the terrifyingly ratlike Nosferatu to the near-superhero Dracula of this year's Dracula Untold. Vampires have often bounced between comedy and horror, and I tried to represent as many different iterations of this as possible. How did I do? Which movie vampires would you have included?

1992: Lucy bride? Why didn't you use the awesome Gary Oldman? And... no Christopher Lee? I like your other work, but this is lacking IMO.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JeffVictor In reply to silenig [2015-03-11 02:31:28 +0000 UTC]

Sorry to disapoint. I did an entire Gary Oldman Evolution with all his dracula forms previously and didn't want to seem redundant. Also, Christopher Lee was a close call, but I tried to show a little more ethnic diversity with Blacula since most of the original counts were white dudes. Anyway, that's just my rationale.
