FINALLY!!!!!!! I finished my new fairy!!! TINKER BELL!!!!! I started her so long ago but I put her on hold until I finished the other fairies but I couldn't wait anymore. I know I say this a lot but she is by far my favorite Twisted Fairy/Princess. I really hope you guys like her!!!Story: The battle for Never Land rages on as the fairies defend their home from the invading pirates. Every fairy was forced to make great sacrifices to protect their home and loved ones…especially Tinker Bell. Upon hearing that Queen Clarion and the Ministers of the Seasons had all fallen to Captain Hook’s blade, Tinker Bell took it upon herself to unite and lead the fairies into battle. However, she was badly injured in an assault on the Pixie Dust Depot while trying to save her beloved Terence, who died in the attack. She lost her wings, an arm, suffered a few burns, and was covered in cuts from head to toe. She was found unconscious by Clank and Bobble who did their best to patch her up. When Tink awoke she was distraught and determined to avenge Terence’s death. She went right to work, fashioning herself a new arm and wings. A tinker fairy’s job is never done and she had a war to win…

I myself wondered after seeing the first two movies how much carnage could be wrought in pixie hollow and both how unfair and outmatched the fairies could or would be... And that I gladly have no reason to wish their beliefs or psychology destroyed as it hasn't proven to be a delusional one- rather a very kind one- and I would not be afraid to defend them Horton hears a who style (hopefully more successfully at that)
Granted it is sobering to see the fairies are indeed still limited despite their impressive powers compared to, say, bugs and the fact that without pixie dust they would not function (did I just guess the plot with how the fairies must be protected so their magic and work can't be disrupted or abused...? Because that's really serious when considered)
And thus with pixie magic, raw living material becomes as durable as anything synthetic if not merely as drugs or as needed, it keeps shape, stays together, and keeps fresh as a living organism ...
Okay if we could do that many problems would just disappear as if by magic thanks to dust magic...
Those little guys and girls command nature itself to unify on a small but pivotal scale ... Never invincible, but unquestionably indomitable and they are never helpless ... Within reason such as can't fly with wet wings... Even so I don't doubt they would topple Titans (human or otherwise) if pushed, unlike similar creatures I can imagine who are just dust to be scattered...
An ingenious spin on an already ingenious expansion of pixies (wish Disney had that insight more often) and you just brought it closer to home with this darkness and pixie tech gone dead serious- be afraid of pixies- wicked hard to catch, super stealthy, and wizards at Sabatoge with the right Tinker around... And with that magic dust and ample talent to use it, nature it self will rival any God machine of man and probably win what with its limitless source intact... Granted the pixies don't die first...
I guess pixies only die by physical means or the death of hope- thus death of belief ... I guess ... Didn't figure that last part out myself...

Had a late friend who drew Tink as having joined Hook's crew. She looked awesome as a pirate, with tankard and pipe.

This looks like it might have been at home in the series Peter Pan and the Pirates, which was a Darker and Edgier take on the mythos, and much closer to the original stories than the Disney version. Any time Tim Curry (voice of Capt. James Hook) signs on to a project you know it's got to be good.
