Sheilak and Jei were in the lead tracking down the tokotas that the gang was supposed to catch before the time runs out. This was a difficult task for the not that observant long mane girl, as she was generally not ambitious either so this was going to be double hard to get her to effectively work on and focus on the task. The only reason why Jei pushed her to the lead, was because she knew that the tokota could deliver with flying records, as she was really intelligent.
Alheana kept making noise just like her usual self, while normally this wouldn't matter at all during a group expedition, as the task was to catch and return tokotas who didn't want to be caught, the constant noise was starting to be a problem. Shansima turned to her lion form and told Alhena off multiple times before she finally understood that they were on a mission, and after that focused on the task at hand with all her might.
Lesa was focusing on the task at the beginning, then being distracted by Alhena, and then finally able to focus on the objective once more when they reached a river and got a visual on 2 of the tagged tokotas.
One of them immediately took off at the sight of a group, but luckily to everyone the other one was far too curious to try running away.
Jei left the curious one for Alhena and Lesa to handle, with their handlers, and took off towards the runaway with Sheilak who had some life and excitement sparked into her for the chase.
