Description
I've found a very good art teacher! This is one of the exercises that he taught me.
I have very little experience with drawing body and poses. This exercise is very useful for learning how to draw poses from memory.
Drawing body by using cylinders.
1. Look at the ref pic and draw a little stick man showing the basic pose.
2. Don't look at the ref pic and try to draw the pose using your little stick man (and cylinders)
3. Look at the ref and draw another cylinder man (copy the ref pic)
4. repeat step 1 and 2.
Now you can see that your second "memory" sketch is better than your first one. That means you are learning
The key words for success: one hundred and one
Scraps. Soon. Of course.

I remember when I spent months doing exercises like this one, in my year of Drawing classes.

What a great way to do your practicing
Right now this period I've practiced to draw hands without looking at it,
but I have to count that it'll appear some pros and cons inbetween..
Anyways good job on your sketches!
