I was watching the training yesterday. It is amazing what kind of... contortions they do on horseback.It's a shame that the picture is so blurry. I had the wrong settings at the camera. Well, I'm still trying

I need to get one of those little cheat pads... I've been doing it with just a bareback pad... any idea what they're called?

Well I figured out what I was thinking of are called cossack straps. And yes, I stand on my 12 year old ex racer TB's back at a canter with nothing more than a bareback pad and a halter with snap-ons. I'm able to turn around and then sit backwards and then turn again and stand again but for more advanced tricks I want that and cossack straps.

Ahh, this brings back memories of doing various moves on a 17hh horse way back in 2002 when I did vaulting!

I used to be a vaulter, too when I was like seven years old. But I think I like it better to watch and take photos than actually doing stunts on horseback

I don't think it's bothering the horse too much. By now he is used to up to three persons doing gymnastics on his back
