Description Ok that's enough suspense. I present Lucicaz, Guardian Forme. I'll update the dex the next chance I get to sprite, which probably won't be for a good long while. Sorry that school is constantly trying to murder me.

It is the pokemon of Light though that's clearly not its official designation.Β
It would have 255 base speed and I did the math one time but in an absolute worst case scenario like four existing pokemon would outspeed it at base. Its max speed would be over 600. For perspective, speed deoxys comes in at 504. But I mean nothing is faster than light in a vacuum so I think this is a fair and reasonable thing.

Lucicaz's Guardian Forme sees it cloaked in light, which gives it a fully-realized appearance. Its radiance can be blinding. As the fastest pokemon ever discovered, it moves so quickly as to become invisible save for a deep, beautiful blue trail of light in its wake. At the beginning of the universe, Arceus is said to have created this pokemon after Dialga and Palkia, with which it carries close ties. Lucicaz is sometimes said to be the Pokemon that strung stars in the sky and taught humans to read them to navigate. Despite its mighty countenance, which may make it seem larger than life, it enjoys interacting with humans, having been a consistent sight through Cajiro over the last centuries, and to other tribes and civilizations worldwiden through history. It seems to fashion itself a figure of guidance to life on this planet.
Lucicaz's Guardian forme is majestic and imposing, but this form is incredibly difficult to sustain in this physical plane. It is theorized that it always appears in this form in other dimensions, but this has yet to be proven. Since the life force of both Navex and Materiim is intrinsically tied with its own, any time one takes their Guardian forme for prolonged periods of time, the other two will weaken. The incredible strain placed on all three means that they can only sustain their Guardian formes simultaneously for about a day, after which it may take months for them to recover. The last known instance of this occurring was a couple centuries ago, coinciding with the original temporal dispersal of Pazzado, Pressente, and Phoochooro.Β It is unknown how the two events are linked, and before that it had been over a millennium. Lucicaz's Guardian forme creates beams of light so intense that even the sheer radiation pressure of them can crumble walls. It illuminates its surroundings into shadowless oblivion as it sees fit, demonstrating that nothingness does not necessarily mean darkness. Lucicaz is thought to hold the secret to the mechanisms of the universe and has been heavily researched. Unfortunately, every new attempt to understand it reveals information that renders what was known previously mostly unusable.

Jello, I just checked my inbox for the first time in like, two months and you don't know how cool it is to see these three (six?) in it! They look fantastic! Definitely prefer them to the old trio. I'm loving the lore too.

I can't decide if I like the normal coloration or the shiny more and that typically never happens!

Also, that's one amazingly fast Pokemon. Especially such a cute one too!

By the way, how do you pronounce "Lucicaz"?

Heh, thanks! I personally pronounce it loo-chi-caz. It derives from luce ("light" in Italian/Latin, pronounced loo-chey) and c2, written c^2, as in E = mc2.
