This is a little bit of venting art, I wanted him to look scared and surprised and angry all at once. I dont think the anger is easily seen but its there.Related content

Actually, I think you did quite well with showing different emotions. The surprise is what we first notice, and does appear to be the most prominent... however, I don't think that's the case. The double eyes do make him look vicious, and the double pupils make him look increasingly angry at whatever shocked him. Also, his tongue seems to be lashing out- which is something a scared and surprised dragon would do, but also an angry one who felt the need to defend himself 
I really like the soft style of the shading- you really define his features well without making them overbearing. However, I think if you darkened a bit more around the eyes, it may have enhanced his anger and emotions more. 
I really like your angle. Not just a boring "Hey, I'm in the middle of the picture!" perspective, but tilted down. It keeps your eyes moving
Oh, also- I really love this design for a dragon!

Uuuu... this looks pretty interesting... Maybe the angry effect could be reached by making his eyebrow bones much more higher... but yeah... the fear would be gone...

heh! yeah I still need practice on bone and muscle structre
I used a pencil and my tortilian smudge thingy, ya know that little rolled up paper stick.
