So, I'm doing an Undertale challenge with my friend , please visit her profile because she is awesome!Today is: Day 4, Undyne.
For today i wanted to draw something sweet with Undyne and Alphys, but i really loved the genocide route and i couldn't resist xD
There is so much to say about Undertale, but my english is poor so ENJOY MY ART PLS

I like that picture. But there's only one little mistake. Undyne says that phrase in the pre-battle monologue/speech. So she supposed to wear an armor.

Yeah, it is rare, but it's still there, even if you don't see it (which is sort of the beauty of the game; there's more to these characters than meets the eye).

It was so depressing when the normally action-packed and upbeat theme when facing Undyne in Pacifist was replaced with grief and horror if you killed Papyrus....

No no,Undyne says this in the genocide referring to Papyrus c:

Undyne only says this in a neutral route where you killed Papyrus. She also has neutral route dialogue based on who you killed in Snowden, for any/all of the dogs, Snowdrake, Shyren, as well as one for sparing all of the above, but having a kill on your record. Papyrus overrides them all, and it's actually more heart-rending than her genocide dialogue.

As long as you don't erase a character's sexuality by claiming that they are not what they canonically are, then it's ok to ship it or do some harmless fanart. My opinion tho

With everyone with everyone i mean LITERALLY EVERYONE.
Some people ship Undyne with Papyrus, i also saw with Mettaton - do not ask me why.
Of course most people ship her with Alphys for many reasons.
A thing i started to notice was that on certain shipping wheels people even only draw those OTP lines only to Alphys.
Almost like if they had no opinion upon other variations which causes them to always look the same.
Those wheels have "Worse than a genocide run" not without a reason.
But ok.
Have you ever been on some Undyne X Papyrus fanart?
Well, the shippers get severaly attacked and insulted by the butthurt of people who only TOLERATE canon.
Yeah almost like if a shipping community is supposed to be peaceless and always in war.
Can you imagine how often they get called lesbophobes?
The one thing i can say at least is that not a single shipper claims Undyne to be hetero, if someone does, they stupid.
Those people like to headcanon Undyne as bi, pan, ace-biromantic (is that the right term?).
I honestly think that Toby should have swapped Alphys and Undyne in terms of their sexuality.
This is not lesbian erasure since the game loses one and gets a new.
The ammount remains the same.
Well, we would have then similar butthurt on some Alphys ships but she is not the one which such shipable chemistry with a male - Papyrus in this case.

Holy shit I really hate it when shippers get attacked just for well, shipping something. Just because you ship a bunch of pixels with another bunch of pixels does not mean that you wish death to every lesbian in the world.
I understand if they get mad at people who takes their representation away (lesbians always do that to us bi/pan people by claiming that Alphys only likes girls) but that is no excuse to make others feel like shit. That's how a fandom works.
Undyne is a lesbian in canon, that's the representation that no one can take away from them. Just because a stranger on the internet ships her with Papyrus (or any other male character for that matter) does not affect what they already have. I'm already so used to it that I don't even bother, I just let them have their fun.
