This is a drawing for , who so sweetly requested the Master as a subject of one of my Obsession drawings! So here's my submission for 'Abandoned' in my Obsessions 100 Themes Challenge. Why 'Adandoned'? I guess that's how I think of the remaining Time Lords after their planet is lost.
I had a major nerdgasm over my latest trip to the art store and ended up coming home with a 9B graphite crayon which made me happier than a pig in s&$%!
Anyhow - I used my honkin' 9B as well as a regular old 9B, 6B, 2B, 2H, and 3H for this. I took two reference pics together for this piece and am pretty happy with the result.

Wow. Wonderful realism. This might sound stupid but I just want to congratulate you on successfully drawing stubble on the Master because I have tried and tried and I cannot get it right, it just ends up looking really horrible, so it's kind of encouraging to know that it can be done.

Thanks so much! I know - I hate stubble! I used a regular 9B pencil lightly and then q-tip to blend a bit without getting rid of the 'liney' quality. Seemed to work well
