Back in the day, when I was working hard to get The Jem Project on the map, I had been playing with the concept that Jem could be viewed as Anime because of where it was animated (Toei Studios in Japan) and by how many glaring instances you could compare it to other popular Anime genres (shoujo, magical girl).To play along with that, I started working on drawings that were more Anime in style than "Americanized" Anime. Then I just started to have fun and make the SD (Super Deformed) chibi versions of each band. So, here they are after I finally found them in my old archives.
