Researcher Notes: The start-up procedure is slow to ensure the unit is given proper time to adjust to their new environment. Each 'Fairy Population Elimination Project' (FPEP) unit is given their own Observation Utilization Drone (OUD), often referred to as a Duone, to ensure that the FPEP unit is behaving normally, does not try to escape from their designated location, and to give orders as needed. Korexia was raised with her personal Duone which she shows signs of comfort or vulnerability when it is around. Older FPEP units did not require such measures as many were retrofitted from the old War Androids, however, these units were eventually scrapped as they eventually either sought escape, or self-destruction, rather than continued regular hunting or observation.

The newer FPEP models, after Korexia was shown to be a success, all have their own Duone. As such, when they see another unit's Duone or a similar observation drone nearby, they have been programmed to relocate to another area of their assigned location. FPEP units rarely interact with other units unless they note a higher concentration of fairies or during fairy rearing seasons, where multiple units may congregate to a single location for a mutual hunt. Korexia's Duone has been painted yellow and is the only one painted yellow so the other FPEP units will garner her the greatest level of respect and authority, second only to the researchers orders.
