Researcher notes: Each FPEP unit has a series of defense mechanisms beyond creating wings or weapons to ensure their survival. One such method is storing and quickly releasing energy in the form of light and sound to bewilder, distract, or generally distance themselves from a perceived threat. Korexia has used this technique not only to dissuade threats, but to also confuse prey in order to make capture and consumption more favorable.
