I decided I want to make solo illustrations of the Ready Jet Go! characters in this style, so I’ve gotta start with Jet himself! As I’ve said before, this show is so wholesome and educational while being humorous at the same time. It was created by the same man as Hey Arnold! and his humor shows a lot in the episodes! I’ve really been loving to watch this show lately, it’s too cute

As I was watching RJG today I realized why I grew so attached to Jet. He’s a lot like me. He’s very optimistic and energetic, and sees the good side in situations. It’s no wonder this cheery boy and I have the same nickname (“Jej”), ‘cuz we are so alike in our personalities… I wanted to do a solo drawing of Jet as well because he’s becoming such a comfort like Mina, Boy, Alt, Fairy Cookie and the rest...!

Since Jet’s an alien from planet Bortron 7, where the residents look like humans but can stretch their bodies to extraordinary distances, he doesn’t quite understand Earth customs - but he’s eager to learn all about them and loves new experiences! The only real difference between me and Jet in terms of our personalities? He has a sensory issue with ice cream because it’s so cold. Meanwhile it’s my favorite dessert He’s even voiced by a Cookie Run VA, specifically Madeleine Cookie, in the Korean dub! He’s too cute and reminds me of Nico from Pop’n Music, he’s really perfect ;w;

With Jet I had to include his cute Bortronian pet Sunspot! The pets on Bortron 7 are like crosses between bunnies and raccoons, and they’re too cute As for the background, I had to do something cute and spacey~ There are many colorful planets, two of which were inspired by the look of his home planet Bortron 7

Hopefully I can draw these characters daily! It may be a challenge but I’m up for it!
