Soooo...I was just minding my own business when told me that the ENTIRE FIRST SEASON of Atomic Puppet, a cartoon that I'm pretty much obsessed with yet rarely ever get to watch, is now available on Disney XD on demand - which means I'll be able to watch it more without having to go through the hassle of KimCartoon!!
Naturally, I've been watching it on demand in my free time tonight - and I watched it whilst drawing this thingy out of utter excitement
After I drew Mookie multiple times, I knew I wanted to draw these two - the main characters and my second and third favorites - next Tonight was the perfect night to do so due to Disney XD finally giving Atomic Puppet the love it deserves...Here's hoping we'll see reruns of it again soon!

The wild-haired young boy is Joey Felt, the lead character of the show; the puppet is AP, a superhero formerly known as "Captain Atomic" who got turned into a living puppet - and when Joey puts AP on his hand, together they become the two-superheroes-in-one hero Atomic Puppet! I drew them in their "normal" forms before powering up here~
AP is my second favorite character because of his personality - I find him to be pretty darn funny. I love the little catchphrase/recurring joke about tossing things into the sun that he has Joey's my third favorite, and I find him to be kinda relatable to me...He also seems like the kind of character I'd want to hang out and enjoy some fun times with (If you didn't already know, Mookie is my favorite because of how much he makes me laugh with his personality! )
In fact, I'll even draw Joey with me hanging out sometime!

It was pretty fun drawing Joey and AP for the first time digitally, as I drew them in a sketchbook of mine when I went to Saratoga over the summer. I think my style is pretty well-suited for Atomic Puppet's characters! Next I think I'll draw villain Naughty Kitty, she's pretty cute and I love her design
If you haven't watched Atomic Puppet yet, I think you should. If your cable provider has On Demand, check Disney XD on demand; if you don't get cable, then KimCartoon will be your best bet. It's a really underrated yet really awesome cartoon that is in need of more love.
