The Halloween season is the time for anything and everything spooky - of course, including cartoons~!
Its anniversary just passed a few days ago so I decided to make some fan art featuring the lovely ladies from a Canadian 'toon I discovered thanks to Netflix and continue to adore to this day - Ruby Gloom!

This time around, I attempted adapting Iris, Misery and of course Ruby herself to my art style. I even included some of the adorable pets, Venus and Doom Kitty! Venus is undoubtedly my favorite character on this show, even though she only appeared with a major role in one episode. I like how she's kinda quirky but refined and even a bit snooty. It's a lot like my headcanon version of White Choco Cookie. Heck, even their voices sound alike - Venus' French-accented voice is 100% my headcanon voice for White Choco because it's the PERFECT match! I love the humor style on this show, as well as the developed plots and how unique and varied all the characters are. It's adorable how Ruby is so perky and positive despite her name and looks!

Ruby, Misery and Iris are unlike characters I've ever drawn before, but I do think they came out great! Getting adjusted to their faces and wardrobe was rather easy.
