It has been a great two months entering the longest drawing challenge I've ever done - #springenjoy2022 on Instagram. This challenge took the usual four-prompt format and doubled it to eight prompts across two months, and it was a fun way to keep things both festive and fresh. Bittersweetly, it has now come to its end, but I'm not crying because it's over - I'm smiling because it happened. And was it fun doing each and every single prompt? YES!

I can't stop drawing cherry blossom trees. And that was no exception for this. I had the idea of a girl waiting for her true love to meet her in a cute springtime forest, and was not afraid to draw some other things in love with the character - frogs in love, birds in love and even lovebugs in love. I had wanted the lovebugs to have heart antennae but couldn't fit them because they are so small I still love how this ended up coming out, though. I NEED to draw more fluffy hair like hers.
