Yesterday was the birthday of Zucker, the best octopus boy in Animal Crossing! I made this drawing in honor of his birthday, but it is a day late because I was too busy with the school club yesterday.

Is Zucker not one of the cutest octopi you've ever seen? He looks like a little Takoyaki (octopus dumpling), and he has sweet sleepy eyes. If that wasn't enough, then let's not forget that he has the adorable Lazy personality type! He's innocent, cheerful and loves snacking - and he has quite the sense of humor too.

Zucker's favorite song is "Spring Blossoms," a song inspired by cherry blossom season in Japan with a traditional sound. It uses instruments like the shamisen and flute to create a real Japanese springtime sound. So, I thought my illustration of him would be inspired by the song, as Zucker shows off his cherry blossom petal he found.

Well, I can say I'm looking super forward to when cherry blossom season returns to the game so that I can make cute cherry blossom DIY projects!
