Now, here’s a Cookie Run couple you don’t see everyday!
I have shipped Popcorn Cookie and Roll Cake Cookie for quite a while, so imagine my joy when I found out today is Roll Cake Day and Popcorn Day in Japan - I could not skip drawing these two cuties together!

Why do I ship Popcorn and Roll Cake, you might ask? I noticed quite a handful of similarities between them when Roll Cake was first released and Popcorn got her magic candy in OvenBreak. They have pretty much the same face and even make similar expressions all the time, including them both sticking their tongue out in their idle sprite! They also both wear goggles or glasses when doing their skill and make the same kind of kissy face - if that isn’t fate connecting them, I don’t know what is!

I used one photo I took when I was on vacation to Baltimore at the end of the summer as the background to make it look like they are on a sweet early fall or late summer date by the gorgeous sea! I quite like these custom outfits I made for them and I’m very proud of how I drew the both of them - especially Roll Cake, because I’ve always been insecure about the way I draw him.
