Description
Kahlan Amnell, Mother Confessor from the Sword Of Truth Series written by Terry Goodkind. An idea of what she looks like in my mind. Well one of, as everytime I begin to draw her she turns out differently, though I like this one best of all my attempts. Applied a sepia filter in iPhoto. Amazing drawing! This is actually kind of how I picture Nicci in my head, more than Kahlan, though. Still amazing!! I love the emotion in the eyes. If it is Kahlan, then I'd have to say this is probably her confessor's face. Love it!!!

I have tried repeatedly to sit down and watch it, but you're right: it's really been changed from the books. It's like they're trying to be true to the characters but have neglected the backstory that makes them who they are. It kind of makes me sad.... I had REALLY high hopes, too.

This is so much closer to how I imagined Kahlan than who Sam Raimi has cast in "Legend of the Seeker".
That guy better not screw up this story, that's all I know.

Absolutely wonderful. She is beautiful. The only thing i woud change is maybe the shading under the eyes, because she kinda looks likeshe has two black eyes. But other than that, it's absolutely fantastic. No wonder Richard loves her so...
