EDIT: Part two, here! [link]I suppose this category is a little less infuriating....
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
I. Made this for Tessa. Cuz I'm a dork. But despite what one of my friends told me, she actually liked it (AND SHE GAVE ME A FREE SIGNED POSTER WHICH IS NOW MY PRIZED POSSESSION KTHXBAI)
Anyway, I had always planned on making a tutorial for it. So here's part one!
If anyone wants to make one of these and has questions about it, I'd love to help! And I'd really love to see the finished product!

Okay I swear---OMG I WAS RIGHT YOUR ICON MORPHS.
I'm sorry I was staring at it waiting for something to happen and my computer froze and tricked me so...yeah...
I definitely don't mind The red stuff is fleece, and the white stuff is polyester. The only reason I used polyester for the white was because I had extra left over from another project; fleece or felt would have worked just as well. But as I told someone else, it also doesn't really matter what kind of red fabric you get, it's entirely up to you. I would recommend a stiffer fabric over a light, stretchy one, but I almost got this really soft material for the red that probably would have been just as easy to work with. The only reason I didn't was because I felt fleece is a more traditional choice for plushies or these kind of projects and I wouldn't have been as worried about messing it up.
I'm excited to see it when you're done as well, and feel free to ask me more questions if you need to
Sorry for rambling btw, I probably could have just said red = fleece, white = polyester and have been done with it

LMAO it's ok, it shows you really have an interest in my questions and apparently my icon lol, and tyvm when I make plushies I normally use fleece or flannel type materials, but I wasn't sure what you had used, I just like to get a general idea when I see others projects and see what worked for them, again tyvm for taking the time to answer me

Of course The red stuff is fleece, the white is polyester, and the black is just crappy craft felt. The only fabric I'd actually insist on using is the craft felt, because it's sturdy and it doesn't fray at the edge. The only reason I used polyester for the white was because I had some extra and I didn't think it necessary to buy more. I could have just as easily used fleece for that too. However, I did almost get some really soft red fabric to use instead (just because it was soft) and it probably wouldn't have been too much more difficult to work with. I just figured it would be more practical to use fleece because it's a common plushie choice.
As for the size, it's really up to you! I'd say the body of mine was about one and a half feet long and one foot wide. The wings were probably about a foot wide each.
I hope this helped Don't hesitate to ask me anything else.
