I like Lapidot now as lovers, I think they're adorable together like Ruby and Sapphire.
But I still like Pearlidot. Perhaps Pearlapidot could work too.

Nice!Β They really are adorable Β I agree about them being like Ruby and Sapphire; I actually believe that there are some parallels between the story of Garnet and the story of Lapis/Peridot (which I wrote about on Tumblr, if it's of interest to you: jenhedgehog.tumblr.com/post/15β¦ ).
Also, Pearlapidot sounds like a really cute ship!
