Description
I've been addicted to a game called "Folklore" lately. It's a game where in order to solve an old mystery you have to traverse the various realms of the Netherworld to speak to the dead and fight and capture monsters called Folks. But you don't capture them in the traditional sense, instead you beat their souls out and absorb them into yourself to gain their powers and resummon them to fight for you. ^_^This Folk here is Bug-A-Boo. He's pretty tall but very gentle. He loves children and doesn't attack you unless provoked. He also makes a cute chirping noise. ^_^

My favorite character to use it Keats. I love his British accent. ^_^

I have a question, when you fight volcano, the big guy with the canon on his back, how do you obsorb him?

ugh bug a boos. i hated having to catch the things. i think i liked ellen's version best. someone cosplayed scarecrow at acen this past summer and i was so glad to know i wasnt the only one in love with the game lol ;;. the scenery is so beautiful
grawarawrarw i loved keats. im not sure if you've beat the game yet so i wont say anything to that effect but i loooove the red coat he gets afterwards a "beat the game" prize. he looks just like hellsing. yum.

I haven't beaten Folklore yet. I'm stuck having to race thru the game with Ellen to get her caught up with Keats to start the 6th realm. Otherwise I'd use ONLY Keats.

You would probably like Folklore. It seems like your type of game. It's like Pokemon combined with Nightmare Before Christmas. ^_^

Great shading, looks very furry.
I wouldve and usually have a hard time shading in large spaces of black like that. Itll just come out awful.
But this is great!

Keeping an even level of pressue with a steady hand helps the shading stay nice and consistant when filling in large areas. Make the shading flow in the same direction too, dont have some pencil strokes going up and down and then switched to left and right in the same area. Consistancy is key to good shading. ^_^

Yeah, I know it's an awesome game, I've already finished it (seriously the last boss is amazing).
I never really liked Bug-A-Boos though, maybe because they look cuddly but when you try to hug them they impale you on their spikes

btw, I'll be getting the ps3 soon, can't find the metal gear pack : /, but still, like 2 more weeks... and planning to get silent hill home coming

The Metal Gear PS3 bundle is very rare. It'll sell out the moment the store puts one on the shelf. (I waited an hour in front of the store before they opened to get mine) You can ask a store when they'll get the next one in and try to be there at opening. That's how I got mine. ^_^
Sony will be discontinueing the Metal Gear bundle soon and replacing it with an Uncharted Drake's Fortune 160GB bundle. (The only different between the $400 and $500 bundles is PS2 backwards compatability. They can both play PSone games, but on only the 500 PS3 can play PS2 games.)

I'd love to have a PS3 for this game!! ( but we have no tv, so...^^ ; ) I'm sure I'd play Keats as well, I like his chara-design.
