Not everyone, I was telling a girl earlier hor my boyfriend is 30 and he still has this vivid of an imagination. He daydreams about far off worlds multiple times a day and he gets very excited about them as well. He still climbs trees and pretends. He is a hit with any kids, they worship him because kids want so badly for adults to see what they see. I still don't know how he does it though, maybe it's a gift?

the image kinda evoke me to say "I don't wanna grow up" but since it's impossible, oh well...
I like feeling being a child inside and having such a vast imagination seeing everyday simple or mundane things in another light.

It's hard to hold onto the things from childhood but it is possible! My boyfriend is living proof. He is 30 and still climbs trees, daydreams and plays with kids like he is one. I still don't know how he does it, but it's possible.

This painting seriously does precisely that. It showcases the "depths" of what your imagination will take you towards. With the child illustriously shown to go towards the bottom of the tub when he knows the tube portion of his snorkel won't reach up & out of the water. But, he's adamantly convinced to go to the sunken ship and really test his physical boundaries with his imaginative landscape underwater. Such is life, though. And, at least he has enough intelligence to breathe out when the snorkel is underwater.
Fav'd, as you should know. Sorry for the lengthy comment. Had to stop or it would've trailed on into different fields.

This is so beautiful! I just love everything about it- the colouring especially- It has this kind of washed/ muted moodiness that is in total contrast to the wonderfully childlike imagery that you've so wonderfully portrayed.
Something about the shading reminds me of Grand Theft Auto's game art for some reason I just can't stop looking at the rich little details, like the bronze faucet and the rubber ducky :3 I love the convex effect with the floor, it completes the effect of the power of the imagination to 'warp' our surroundings! The actual DEPTH you've created with the blues of the water and the schools of fish in the background- it feels like it goes out for miles!
I just recently changed my wallpaper, like today but I was wondering if I can use this for my desktop?
I would have liked to have given a critique, but my browser just opens up your image when I click on the button- not that I mind that at all! With total honesty, I cam say that i would give this ***** it just takes my breath away, I could look at it for hours-The sudsy glow around the tub! Everytime I look at it I see new things.
Sorry, I must seem mental-
You amaze me I don't know how else to put it!

Yes please go ahead.
You don't seem mental at all. It's very nice to hear that people like something I worked on, it's very rewarding, thank you. I like Grand Theft Auto, did you mean in-game or the cover art on the game case?
That is okay I am more than happy reading a comment or a critique it makes no difference to me. But thank you very much I am glad you enjoy it. I'm glad you spent time really looking at the details <3
I plan on making another illustration that is along the same "imagination" theme in the near future. Stay tuned!
Again thank you <3

Thank you It reminds of the cover art and loading screen art for like 3, Vice City and San Andreas- and Canis Canem. After looking up Rockstar's more recent art, I'd say not so much that
I will definitely keep an eye art for that
