Haha, we didn't have any beaches where I grew up D:
Beaches cost money where you live? That's a rip off!

Oops sorry. I sketched it with pencil and then coloured it in Photoshop CS5.
I love your art by the way.

When I see this I don't just see the child's imagination, I SEE THE artist's as well. Imean you focus the room and the picture around the boy and his world, and his imagination, creeps out of tub(example the cat is flicking the pages like he was reading but now he's observing the tub wich is staring to litery over flow with boy's ocean). Curving the two ends of the wall back push the main display into focus or into the focus of the picture. This gives it a wonder land hall way look, which also expresses the imagination.
I think his head could be more tilted upward but so far it's perfect. This is a swell piece of work.

Hopefully he doesn't forget not to breathe in. But I love the pirate ship, and the whales, and the duck and the cat and I REALLY hope he doesn't get any water on those books.

Haha I'm sure they are a bit wet by now, he'll have to move them next time so he doesn't wreck them completely.

Amazing work, you really captured the magic of the bathtub. XD There are whole underwater worlds in there, if you care to use your imagination. I love the little whale. Great stuff!!

Oh you would be surprised! In response to your work I got to goofing off and the picture I just uploaded to me gallery is the result.
After I posted this on Facebook many of my friends said the same thing.
Evidently there are many Bathtub Aquatic Imagi-divers about there!

I love the books in the corner--another imagination portal. And the curving of the floor, to give a sort of double fishbowl look to the piece. And I love how it makes me feel exciting, like the moment you walk into a new library for the first time.
Thanks very much for sharing.

You're very welcome it was a very lovely piece and I loved the concept of it considering I had a very limitless imagination as a child myself. Overall I couldn't help but love it.
