Description
Chapter 2: The First EncounterMeanwhile, just outside the city of Rochester; a young man named Brian was driving home from where he worked on the east side of the city, he was driving to met up with a few people on the west side.
As Brian was about 30 miles out of the city, he suddenly heard a breaking news report on your radio. A giant girl who had appeared out of nowhere this morning had been walking towards the city, causing several hundred people in the panic. Officials planned evacuations and warned everyone not to enter the city and stay clear of it. Brian thought nothing of it, thinking the story was something that the News people were trying to play a prank on anyone who was listening (even though they sounded 100% serious when they had announced it).
Brian continued driving towards the city, until about 10 minutes later when he began to noticed a shockingly high amount of cars all driving the other way (and it wasn't even 5:00 PM yet). He then listened to the radio again. This time, it was an emergency broadcast.
Jerry (News Announcer #1): We interrupt this program for a late breaking story. We now go out to Howard Thomas, who is reporting live from the scene.
Frank (Reporter #1): Thank you Jerry, well there's no other way I can describe it, I am looking right now at a gigantic girl just wondering through the country side, inevitably heading straight for the city. I have never seen anything quite like it before in my life. She has crushed a few cars and trees here and there, but it seems as though she is trying to avoid doing that at all.
I just can't really think of what else to say at this moment except...”Run”, anybody listening to me right now, just run. There's no telling what she could do to any of us or what she's planning on doing. I highly advise that you just start running for your lives, evacuate the city and do not try using your personal vehicles. Back to you Jerry.
After that, Brian was now confused. This time, he had actually heard someone who (from what he was hearing) was there watching this (supposed) giant girl, walking towards the city. During the story, Brian couldn't help but notice the noises he was hearing in the background too, it sound much like a lot of booming sounds coming from the distance. It was hard to hear it over the guy announcing this on the radio, but it was still there.
Finding story somewhat puzzling, Brian got off the highway and headed towards the city to find out what was really going on.
He was having trouble believing that there could ever be such a thing as a giant girl, let alone in the city where he had lived for several years now.
As he began to approach the city, Brian began to notice that people were starting to run away with some screaming in fear. And as he kept going, more and more people began to appear. Within minutes, a group of news Helicopters began to fly towards the city too, all of them were clearly in a hurry for something.
Eventually, Brian was forced to stop, so to avoid accidentally running over civilians. Brian began to skim over the details of what he had heard and what he was seeing.
Brian: Hmm, first all this chatter on the News; about a giant girl coming into the city and now I got all these people running away from something screaming, along with a group of News Helicopters flying towards the city too. And if I'm not mistaken, I thought I heard a few of them mention to me about a giant girl too. Something strange is happening here?
He sat there for a few minutes trying to piece everything together, but no matter how hard he tried, Brian couldn't come up with a good enough answer. Disappointed and confused, he then tried to drive away, but still people kept coming towards him, running away from something.
At this point, Brian was starting to grow quite mad, he was about ready to start screaming at some of these people, when suddenly, he heard a noise...
It was the sound of a roar, it was faint, but it was echoing off the buildings all across the city. Brian stopped talking, trying to listen for the noise (or any other noises) coming from the city. But, all he could hear was people screaming as they were running away. Then something dawned on him...
Brian: Wait a minute...
During the radio broadcast he had heard before; which (as far as he was told) was being recorded live, he could hear several sounds in the background (aside from the announcers voice and the sounds coming from the Helicopter).
Among them was the sound of an almost monster like roar, it was very faint in the radio announcement, but he could defiantly remember hearing it. Also at one point during the announcement, he thought he could hear the sound of something booming in the distance (sort of like a bomb going of, only louder and more frequent then that). Brian hated to admit it, but the more he thought about it, the more and more it seemed that the whole giant girl story seemed to be true (all that was missing for him at this point was any actual proof, an actual visual of this giant girl).
Brian then tried checking his phone, maybe someone, somewhere on the internet would have posted a photo, a video or something else of this “supposed” giant girl and see if he could find any proof of the story being true or not. Sadly though, Brian would never get that far; he only had the phone out for a minute or 2 and was just opening up the internet when the phone suddenly died on him, the battery was completely flat and there was no way for him to charge it in the car at all (since he forgot to bring the charge cable with him before he left the house earlier that day).
Brian: DAMN IT! Now I have no easy way of finding out what's REALLY going on AND I have no way of calling my friends to tell them where I am either!
Brian shouted, as he threw his phone down on the passenger seat in a fit of anger.
He sat there, waiting for something else to happen, waiting to see if anything else unusual could happen while he was sitting there.
Soon, Brian heard the sound of a loud boom, Brian looked over into the city, and watched as a good sized explosion went off far in the distance, sending tons of rubble, glass and debris flying into the air. Brian just sat there, confused and (for the first time now) a little bit frightened; he couldn't think of a good reason about anything that he just saw...
Brian: Maybe there really is a giant girl attacking the city? No, look at what your saying Brian, there's gotta be a reasonable explanation for what's going on.
But try as he might, there was nothing he could think of that would cause so many people to start running, a massive explosion, a monster like roar, a continuous booming sound and several News Helicopters to be in the same place at the same time.
To him, it all looked like he was in the middle of some sort of a Hollywood Disaster Movie, but Brian knew that this was not some stupid movie, what he was seeing, hearing & feeling was all 100% real and it was happening before his very eyes.
The only thing he was still struggling to understand (let alone believe) was that everything he was seeing was being caused by some supposed giant monster (or even a giant girl).
As he sat there, Brian began to notice that the amount of people running away began to die down, so (while no one was looking) he slowly began to drive away and into the city, hoping to find the source of this disaster.
Brian looked all around him, the majority of the city was completely abandoned, Brian had never seen the city this empty before in his entire life. There was still a handful of people in the city, but all of them were doing the same thing as everyone else who Brian had seen, they were all running away from something (some of them screaming too).
Brian kept thinking of what they would be running from, he kept coming to the same conclusion though and kept denying the facts that he was presented with...and by now, Brian was slowly starting to lose his temper...
Brian: THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS MONSTERS! AND THERE IS CERTAINLY NO SUCH THING AS A GIANT GIRL!!!
…Or so he thought?
After a while of driving, he soon got an answer...As he kept heading into the city, Brian could hear loud thumping noises coming from the distance. Brian's mood soon changed after he started hearing this, he began to feel less and less angry and more and more scared for his very life, as the noises grew louder and louder, and the ground began to shake more and more violently with each sound becoming louder.
Thoom! Thoom! Thoom! Thoom! CRUNCH! CRUNCH! KA-BOOM! KA-BOOM! KROOOM! Thoom! Thoom! Were the sounds Brian kept hearing the entire time as he drove deeper and deeper into the city, with each one of the sounds become louder then the last.
Car alarms nearby were starting to go off from the massive vibrations, cars, buses and trucks began to jump up and down in the air helplessly from this almost earthquake like vibration & nearby buildings began to vibrate all over the place from the vibrations.
Beginning to fell nervous, Brian began to slow down further and further, soon he was driving as slow as he dared to go, which was no more then about 15 MPH. He looked all around the place, trying to find out what was making the tremors and noises. He soon found out...
As Brian neared an intersection, when it sounded just like the booming noises were right behind him, he suddenly looked to his left and then looked up in horror. Stopping the car just before entering the intersection; he could now see (clear as day, right in front of him) a gigantic foot, coming down towards the ground. Terrified, Brian closed his eyes, ducked down below the dashboard and hoped that he wouldn't be crushed...
KRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!
KRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!
...A massive cloud of dust, dirt and derbies filled the air soon after this, covering both Brian's car and the surrounding area completely.
After the dust finally cleared, Brian slowly opened his eyes, he was amazed to find that he was still alive. But what he saw next was simply overwhelming...
Right in front of his car in the middle of the intersection, were these two GIGANTIC feet sitting right in front of him and were sitting no more then a few yards away from the front of his car. His car was nothing more then a mire toy when compared to the size of the foot; about the size of a Hot Wheels car more or less.
His car was not damaged in anyway either, but the two feet had however, flattened a few cars located near by and had both formed MASSIVE craters in the middle of the intersection.
At first, Brian just sat there; speechless, looking right at the two feet just sitting there, the size of the foot itself was (easily) 6 times the size of Brian's car. He could feel his heart now racing, after his near death experience.
Brian slowly began to look up to see who (or what) the gigantic foot belonged to, for him it was such a long way up, the foot clearly belonged to someone (or something) that was way taller then any of the surrounding buildings.
When Brian found out how it was, his jaw immediately dropped. There looming over him, his car and most of the city, was a beautiful giant girl (just like what he had heard on the News earlier) standing tall over everything around her. Brian was completely once again was completely speechless, he couldn't think of how to react to this at all, he was amazed to be alive, but at the same time, he was beginning to realize that he was completely wrong to just believe that there was no such thing as a giant attacking the city.
He was unable to even say a single word, the encounter with the giant's foot was all too much for him to handle, he had never seen anything like it before in his entire life, he was now scared for his very life, unsure of who this girl was or what her intentions were, for all he knew, she could just look down, see him and decided to crush him or even eat him. As a bit of precaution of this, to make sure she didn't notice him at all, he then turned of the car and everything went completely silent.
It was then, right at that very moment, that Brian got a good enough look at the giant's face, to anyone else in the city, this wouldn't have mattered, to them, it was nothing more then a gigantic woman attacking their city and could likely kill them all if she really wanted to, but to Brian; it seemed to be very familiar. A bit too familiar...Upon realizing just who it really was, Brian gasped in horror. Unable to talk without stuttering, but was slowly starting to regain his composure...
Brian: I-i-is t-that J-J-J-J-Jennie?! But that's impossible! The last time I remember seeing her, she was only a few inches shorter then me. This can't be real, this must be just a dream or something.
Try as he might; deep down, Brian knew was seeing this for real, there was no denying what it was he was looking at now or even who it was...it was indeed Jennie; she was standing there right in front of him and his car.
Jennie was one of Brian's friends, one who he had known for quite a while now and that he had even felt like asking out on a date before either one of them had graduated from school (but he never managed to ask her out before then); however, the last time he saw her, she was only just as tall as he was (but that was back when they were still in school) and now, here she was...a giantess (so to speak) standing tall over everything in sight. She was now at least over 500 feet tall, just tall enough to tower over every single building in the entire city of Rochester.
Jennie was wearing her new Nike's Sneakers (with Blue-green and White stripes), her White and Pink tube socks (which stretched up to waist), a pair of Blue Jeans (which she had made into Short-Short's), a Black tank-top with a bright White coat on covering that, a pair of round Red earrings and her Dark Blue headband on her head, with her long brown hair and with her dark blue eyes too. She certainly looked just as beautiful as Brain remembered her being from when the two of them were last in school together.
At first, Jennie to him seemed like she was all powerful, like she could do anything she wanted, anything she desired and wished to do. But it was then, after taking a closer look at her face, that Brian began to notice something else about her.
Brian had noticed that she didn't look evil at all, she wasn't even smiling, she looked just like she was nervous or shy or even just plain scared. Something was making her feel this way and Brian (being one of the closest friends she ever had) had a good enough idea why that was...
When they knew each other from their days in school, Jennie was a really sweet and innocent girl, unable to bring any harm to anyone at all, she didn't like the idea of people being killed or seriously injured at all (unless she was being threatened or attacked by them that is) other wise, she absolutely hated it. She really was one person who could never hurt a fly, even if she was creeped out by them and other insects.
Now that she was a giant though, Brian thought to himself, she might be feeling afraid that she's gonna hurt someone or something, or even worse, end up killing several hundred innocent people.
Brian looked back up at his friend who was still just standing there, looming over the city buildings. He really didn't like seeing his friend like this (since he was quite the kind hearted person too, especially to his friends), he wanted to help her; but for the moment, he didn't have any idea just how he was going to do that.
Brian: I have to try and get her attention somehow, that's what I need to do first, but how?...
After another minute or so, Jennie then began to move again, making her way even further into the city itself. THOOM! THOOM! THOOM! THOOM! THOOM! THOOM! Was the sound her feet kept making as she began to walk away. The streets cracked and crumbled beneath her sneakers as she walked down them. Cars and even buildings in the distance hopped around and shook helplessly about with each step that Jennie took. Leaving behind a series of huge craters in the ground behind her and crushing a few cars, lamp post and other objects as she made her way through the city streets.
Brian sat there at first, watching his friend walk away from him, but then he plucked up courage and had an idea of what to do now (not a good idea, but an idea none the less)...
Brian: (thinking) I gotta follow her and get her attention, one way or another (that doesn't involve me getting killed or injured)...
With that, Brian started up his car again and began to follow her, trying his best to avoid the GIANT craters that her feet were leaving behind as she continued walking.
Jennie continued to walk through the city, looking around nervously, while also taking in the fact that she was a giant now. KA-BOOM! CRUNCH! THOOM! THOOM! Was the noise that her feet kept making the entire time.
Brian was now slowly starting to catch up to her, he now had to start watching out for her feet; which he was becoming dangerously close to.
He then tried getting ahead of her by taking a side street nearby, maybe then he could somehow get her attention if he got well enough ahead of her. Naturally, because of her size compared to him, this didn't work. And when he reached the next intersection, he could already see a pair of gigantic sneakers walking past.
Disappointed, Brian then turned down another street and with no one (especially Jennie) in sight, he could put his foot to the floor and try and get ahead of her that way, but no matter how much he tried, it was no good.
Every time Brian tried this, he was not able to get ahead of Jennie. Even though she was only walking, her massive size meant that she could get ahead of him without even trying. Plus it was now becoming really hard to try and avoid all of the craters she was leaving behind in the streets.
He then tried making another attempt at getting ahead of her, but this wouldn't work either, as Brian neared the intersection, he could already hear the sounds of Jennie's foot steps getting dangerously close. Brian then looked up as he got to the intersection and could see Jennie's gigantic foot coming down towards the ground, try to stop now and Brian could have easily become a part of his friends shoe.
Without thinking, Brian put the pedal to the medal and rocketed his car across the street before Jennie's foot could come crashing down, he made it out of there just in the nick of time!
KRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!! As Jennie's foot came crashing into the ground, dust, dirt and rubble flew everywhere. Brian's car leaped at least 5 feet into the air from the massive vibration that followed, his car then immediately began to flip and did one full rotation before finally coming to a stop.
Thankfully for Brian, he was (once again) lucky to be alive and was thankful that his car was still on it's wheels, but the damage caused by the flip and managed to scratch the paint, dent the body and had manged shake Brian up quite a fair bit.
Ultimately, Brian's heart was racing yet again after having (another) near death experience and starting to wonder if getting Jennie's attention was starting to become nothing more then a complete waste of time. Brian just sat there, watching her GIGANTIC feet walking away and listened to the sound begin to fade away. BOOM! BOOM! Thoom! Thoom!
But, deep down, Brian knew that he somehow had to get try getting Jennie's attention so that he could try talking with her and see if there was anything he could do for her. So, Brian once again plucked up courage and continued on his wild and deadly chase...
Then, Jennie came to a stop, she was looking around the place again; she peered into a few of the buildings in the downtown area, trying to get a look inside to see if she could find anybody. Brian saw this as his chance to try and get her attention, without another thought, he raced down the street towards his now gigantic friend, and pulled the car up along side her shoe. Only problem with this plane was, Brian had no idea how he could get her attention, he tried calling up to her...
Brian: “Jennie, can you hear me?”
...but there was no reply from her, he tried again (louder this time) but still no reply. It was obvious that Jennie either couldn't hear him or she wasn't paying attention to him.
Jennie then started moving from building to building, in the hopes of finding someone (but why she was looking for anyone was still pretty much a mystery to Brian, who was still trying to do anything he could to get her attention).
For the next few minutes, Brian tried all sorts of tricks to try and get Jennie's attention, He tried calling up to her, not a peep from her; he tried honking the cars horn, still no reply...
After a few more minutes and with not once noticing her friend at all, Jennie finally gave up on trying to search around in the buildings and just began walking around the city again, feeling pretty sad that she didn't manage to find anyone. BOOOOOM! BOOOOOM! THOOM! THOOM! Thoom! Thoom! Was all that Brian could hear as he watch Jennie walk away from him...again. This time he just sat there and watched as his friend walked away leaving huge craters in the pavement as she walked and stepping on a few cars and near by objects as she made her way through the city streets.
Then Jennie stopped yet again, this time she looked down and started picking up a few cars that were just sitting there in the streets, Brian thought he could try getting her attention that way, but at the same time, wondered if maybe she would even see or pick up his car?
Jennie just stood there with a car in her hand that she had just picked up; a small red Sedan, that she hoped would have someone inside of it. She held the car right up to her face a peaked inside it, but there was no one in it, disappointed Jennie then let go of the car and dropped in onto the ground with out a care in the world. The car came crashing down to the ground and was severally damaged from the impact with the pavement from over 500 feet in the air.
Brian looked upon this and was pretty concerned for his friend, something quite clearly was bothering her, but he could really figure out what it could be...
Jennie then did the same thing to bus that was near by, that she found sitting in the middle of the street. Her tiny friend (Brian) was speechless as he watched his friend pick up the bus with no problem at all, once again, Jennie held up the bus to her face and tried looking through the windows to see if she could find anybody inside of it. Unfortunately for her, there was nobody on board, everybody who had been riding it had clearly run away.
Jennie's heart sank upon seeing this, she frowned at the sight that there was nobody around her that she could talk to (never once noticing her friend who had been sitting behind her the whole time). Just like the car, Jennie let go of the bus and let it fall 500 feet to the ground, the bus almost fell completely apart when it hit the pavement, it was now nothing more then a big pile of broken parts.
Jennie (once again) disappointed that she was unable to find anyone, kept on making her way through the city. THOOOOOOOOM! THOOOOOOOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Ka-boom! Ka-boom! Was the sound you could hear as Jennie walked through the cities streets.
It was starting to feel hopeless now trying to get her attention, Brian had tried so many times to get her attention, had nearly died twice, his car was now seriously damaged, he just watch Jennie tear apart a huge portion of the city (without even trying to do so) and she hadn't taken any notice of him at all.
He just sat there watching as his friends gigantic feet disappeared into the distance, his heart was beginning to sink fast, it was looking like he would never actually get his friends attention at all, but he kept following her slowly, and made sure to keep a lose eye on her incase he saw an opportunity to get her attention.
A few minutes later, Brian noticed she had finally come to a stop (yet again) in an area just outside of the downtown area, she just stood there; looking around (just like she was when he first found her).
Brian: Now's my chance, I can drive up to her again and try getting her attention. But how I do that?
With that, He put on a brave face and drove as fast as he could towards his (gigantic) friend, maybe now, he could actually try getting her attention and actually get to talk with her.
Jennie had indeed stopped, this time she was looking all around the place, there was nobody else around her at all. She was standing there all alone. She had never felt so unwelcomed before in her whole life.
She then took a seat on a nearby building, which began to groan and crumble beneath her weight. The ground for nearly a mile around her shook as she took a seat on the building. She continued to look around the place, but again, there was nobody around for miles, they had all run away. Jennie then looked down towards the ground and closed her eyes, as she did this, she slowly began to cry...
2 minutes later however, Jennie could hear a noise, it was the sound of someone talking. Straight away, Jennie stopped crying, as she thought she could hear this strange voice calling her name. She began to look around the place in all directions (confused), desperately trying to find out where the voice was coming from.
Jennie: *Sniff* H-Hello, is someone there? Did someone call my name?
Jennie couldn't see anybody or anything, but she kept hearing the noise again. Along with that, she also heard the sound of a car horn honking. She then realized the could only be one place where that could be coming from, the voice and the noise's was right beneath her (down in the street).
She took a look down to her right foot, nothing was there. She then took a look down at her left foot and could see a small car sitting there by her left shoe.
It was a tiny blue sports car, covered completely with dust, dirt and debris, it was dented and battered beyond recognition. Jennie was unsure of who it could be, rather it was someone trying talk to her or was just somebody who was annoyed with her and wanted to give her a piece of his/her mind. But a moment later, Jennie could hear the voice again...
Mysterious Voice #1: Pick me up Jennie! Pick me up in your hand!
Jennie, unsure of what was going on or who it was, leaned down to the ground, extending her hand and picked up the car. She effortlessly lifted the car up from the ground to her face. To her; It was just like trying to pick up a toy car.
She then held up the car to her face and tried to get a look at who was inside, but all the dirt and dust that covered the car made it hard for her to see inside the car. So (as much as it made her uncomfortable to do this) she made the choice to try getting whoever it was outside of the car and into the palm of her hand so she could get a good enough look at them.
Slowly and carefully, Jennie opened the drivers door with her fingers, it was tricky since her fingers were so big compared to the car, but eventually; she managed to open the door. She carefully dropped who was inside into her right palm.
Once that was done, she then took the car and placed it on the roof of a nearby building, where it would be out of the way.
Now, Jennie could try and get a closer look at who it was that was trying to get her attention. She took one quick look and was surprised to see who it was.
Jennie: *Gasp* OMG, Brian, is that you?
Brian gave her a little smile. Even though he knew she wouldn't hurt him, he was feeling rather nervous. He was now well over 370 feet in the air (at least) and was still unsure of what he was gonna say to her. He then took a deep breath and began to talk to her.
Brian: Yes it's me Jennie, I'm just a little bit scared now, I've never really had an experience like this ever before.
Jennie: It's alright Brian, you know I won't hurt you, I would never wanna hurt anyone.
Brian: I know, it's just too bad that no one else here knew that.
Jennie just grinned, she was feeling a bit better that she now had a friend with her. But then, Brian then spoke again.
Brian: How in the world did you become this big? The last time I saw you you were only a few inches shorter then me.
Jennie had a look of confusion on her face.
Jennie: To be honest, I don't really know. All I know is that I was fishing in Lake Ontario one morning and everything was fine, but then I feel out of the boat and into the lake, then I suddenly (out of nowhere) began to grow like crazy.
Brian: I see...
He had known for years that Jennie and her family liked fishing (even though she never ate fish, to her it was just an activity). He had also heard for several years about the pollution levels in Lake Ontario being really high (the highest out of all the 5 Great Lakes infact). Maybe; he thought to himself, it was possible that the area she was in was full of Nuclear Waste or something? This then in turn caused her to grow into a 500 foot tall giant.
He stopped thinking and tried speaking to her again...
Brian: Jennie, I was just on my way through the city when I started hearing all about you on the radio, they were talking all about this giant girl attacking the city. I didn't wanna believe it...
Jennie could completely understand this, it wasn't too often that you'd hear about something like that.
Brian:...But then I came across you, you almost ended up crushing me and my car...twice. I saw you were looking like you were afraid of something...I tried following you the entire time to try and catch up with you, I wanted to try seeing if there was anything I could do for you.
Jennie then began to panic, for the longest time, she had felt the same way about Brian that he did for her (even though she didn't really know it).
Jennie: OMG I'm sorry Brian! I didn't mean to hurt you, I just didn't know that you were here trying to follow me! I didn't hurt you or anything, did I?
Brian: No, I'm fine Jennie, I'm just a bit shaken up from my encounter with you, but I reassure you that I'm just fine.
He then went ahead and hugged one of her giant fingers (hoping that would calm her down a little), Jennie began to blush a little, she knew that Brian was always willing to help his friends, no matter what. Brian then spoke up yet again...
Brian: I know you don't like the idea of hurting or killing people, am I correct in saying that's why you're feeling scared, because you're afraid you'll kill or injure someone?
Jennie's smile then disappeared, she then began to speak.
Jennie: Well yes, that's part of it Brian, but I'm also feeling that way because...
She sighed sadly before continuing.
Jennie:...Just look at me, I'm 500 feet tall now, nobody's ever gonna wanna be friends with me if I'm like this.
Jennie then began to cry again.
Jennie: I'm a monster, Brian...
She then looked away from Brian, covering her eyes as she started crying again. Brian began to feel sad her, he shed a single tear as he watched his best friend crying, there wasn't really much he could do for her situation, she was now 500 feet tall and there wasn't really anything he could do to help fix that.
All he could do was watch his best friend sitting there crying, thinking she would never be accepted by anyone for the way she was now. But then, Brian had an idea...
Brian: I'm here with you Jennie.
She then lifted her head and slowly stopped crying.
Jennie: *Sniffs* W-what?
Brian: Look, I made the effort to try and follow you and did every single thing I could to get your attention. Your not a monster to me Jennie, your still the same beautiful girl I remember from our days in school together (that same girl that I had a crush on for several years now). Your only bigger then I remember you being, that's all.
Jennie was surprised to find out how Brian felt about her, for years now she had always had a crush on him too, but never really knew that she felt the same way about him, but now the truth was out, she slowly began to blush as she wiped the tears from her eyes. Brian then spoke again...
Brian: I know your scared of killing or hurting people, but look at me, I was right by you the whole time; and I'm still here with you...
Jennie: Yeah, you do have a point. But what about everybody else out there, they're still not gonna want me if I'm this big? I'm pretty sure my own family won't even wanna see me if I'm this tall, I'll surely give the the shock of their lives.
Brian: I'm pretty sure once they know that your not a threat to them, they'll accept you for who you are now. If nothing else, I’ll be your friend if no one else will.
Brian then walked over to Jennie's finger again and gave it a little kiss.
Jennie's cheeks blushed bright red. She so touched by this, that she began to cry again; but this time, they were tears of joy. Jennie then leaned down towards her friend and gave him a kiss. Brian, unsure of what to do now, just began to blush himself and looked down at her palm. He was far to embarrassed to let her see his face.
Jennie: Thank you Brian, I really don't know what I would do without you.
Brian just smiled back, she then lifted him up to her face and he gave her a hug...
But the moment was soon about to be ruined though, for at that particular moment the two of them suddenly heard a group of sirens wailing away in the distance. They sounded just like they were coming closer and closer towards where Jennie was. Both Brian and Jennie were confused and a little bit concerned. As they heard the sirens wailing away in the distance, they then heard a wiring sound approaching too.
Jennie was confused, she then looked to her right and in the distance she could see a huge bunch of Helicopter's flying right towards her, along with a series of dark blue cars coming towards her feet. It didn't take long for either Brian or Jennie to guess just who it was. It was the Police, coming in to try and take her down.
Jennie was pretty scared now see this sight, she didn't know what she had done wrong? She didn't kill anyone, she didn't harm anyone, she wasn't doing anything wrong at all. But Jennie just sat there, watching as the Police cars parked right beside her right foot. The Helicopter's stayed far back from Jennie, they saw that she had someone with her and thought that she was going to kill him, but they hovered there, waiting to see what she would do.
She then looked back down at the ground and noticed a huge bunch of police men all started gathering around the police cars. There had to (at least) be 35 or 40 police men and women down below her on the ground, they all just sat there, looking up at her. She nervously was looking down at them the entire time. Brian meanwhile, was looking down at the police from the palm of Jennie's hand, he wasn't scared of falling off, but took precaution as he sat there looking at them all.
At last the Police Chief (as Brian and Jennie presumed he was) took out a megaphone and began to speak, talking as nicely as he could...
Police Chief: Now look Ma'am we don't really approve of you trying to attack the city at all and we don't want you to try harming anyone (including the person you have up there in your hand). Just surrender now and put down the person you have in your hand. If you cooperate, we can work on bringing you back to normal size and we won't try & shoot you.
Jennie was confused by this remark.
Jennie: But, I'm not hurting him, this is my boyfriend. I'm not trying to hurt him. I didn't harm or hurt anyone at all?
But the police weren't listening to her, all they cared about was that she was a potential danger to everybody around her. They didn't care who she was or what she was doing, all they wanted was her to be out of the city and out of their sight.
Police Chief: Ma'am, we're warning you, if you don't put the man down that you are holding then we'll be forced to start shooting you.
By this point, Jennie was starting to get a bit annoyed with the police.
Jennie: I just told you, I'm not hurting him. This is my boyfriend I have in my hand that your looking at! I didn't hurt anyone the entire time I was here, I'm telling you the truth!
Police Chief: Listen, we're telling you for the last time man, we're gonna start firing at you if you do not cooperate with us. Just put the man in you hand down and we won't try shooting you!
By now, Jennie was completely feed up with the police, they clearly weren't listening to her at all, all they cared about was that she put Brian down on the ground. She wasn't harming Brian at all and she didn't hurt anyone else on her way towards the city or on her walk through the city, so she didn't see what the big deal was?!
Annoyed with the police, she slowly started to get back up and turned her head away from the police as she did so. The police had just about had enough of her at this point, they saw her get up and they felt as though they had no choice. They all started to shoot Jennie within a matter of seconds after she had gotten back up on her feet.
Jennie was caught by complete surprise, as she felt the bullets from their guns starting to hit her on her side. She wasn't being hurt by their bullets, they had no effect on her at all...But she knew that the same thing wouldn't apply for Brian. Their guns could just as easily kill him if they just so happened to be aiming towards him.
As quickly as she could, Jennie held Brian (who was still in her right hand) up to her chest and covered him with her left hand, gently making sure she didn't try and accidentally crush him. Jennie then turned back towards the police who were desperately shooting her in the feet, the legs, the stomach and the chest. She was scared, surprised and annoyed with them.
Jennie: Stop shooting at me you guys! I'm not here to harm you people or your city!
She said, hoping that this time they would actually start listening to her...but they didn't. The police just kept on trying to shoot her, even though their bullets weren't doing anything to her, they thought that they would eventually start causing damage to her body. Jennie then turned her body away from them so that she could uncover Brian. She was still being shot at in the back while she did this. Jennie then uncovered Brian and she looked down at him with a pretty nervous expression on her face.
Jennie: We need to try getting out of here and fast, there's no telling if they're gonna accidentally end up killing you or not!
She then slowly lowered her hand back towards her chest and covering it with her other hand, to make sure that Brian would stay out of harms way.
Jennie: Just hold on tight!
With that, Jennie slowly started walking away from the police cars down below her. She was making sure not to try and cause anymore damage as she kept walking away, so she had to keep a good enough look out while she was waling through the city, but she occasionally looked down at her hand to make sure that Brian was okay.
Brian was just fine, he was sitting comfortably and was just listening to Jennie's feet crushing the pavement way down below. Thoom! Thoom! Thoom! Thoom! Ka-boom! Ka-boom! Crunch! Crunch! Thoom! Thoom! We're the only sounds Brian could as Jennie continued on walking away from the police.
The police just stood there watching as the 500 foot tall Jennie continued on walking away from them, they weren't able to chase after her as it would be dangerous and completely unsafe. But the helicopters on the other hand, were able to keep following her, they kept on firing at her head, trying their best to shoot her down. Their bullets weren't doing anything to her at all, as Jennie just kept right on walking through the city streets, crushing as many cars, buses and trucks were down below her.
Upon reaching the outskirts of the city Jennie then looked back at the helicopters and noticed that they were slowly starting to back off. They clearly only cared as long as she was no where near the city? About another 2 miles later (which was only a few mere feet to her), Jennie came to a stop. She uncovered her hand and she looked down towards Brian & said...
Jennie: You okay baby?
Brian: Yeah, I'm...I'm fine, but what about you? They shot a lot of bullets at you from what I heard.
Jennie: Strangely enough, I didn't feel anything from them, their bullet's didn't hurt me at all? But we gotta try getting away from here, there's no telling if they'll still come and get me if I'm standing here.
Jennie then looked all around place, trying to see if there was any helicopters, police cars or anything trying to follow her, she looked all around her in any direction...but there was nothing there, all that was there was just her and her new boyfriend; Brian.
Breathing a sigh of relief and feeling a bit depressed, Jennie continued on walking away from the city; through the country side. Both her and Brian felt that getting everyone to try and trust her was going to be more of a handful then they first thought it would be...
Brian and Jennie ended up finding a place where she could stay hidden from sight without anyone even knowing where was. It was a place about 50 or more miles away from the city, along the shores of the lake itself. There were no houses, roads or towns near this location in any direction for several miles. She was completely hidden from sight here.
Brian: Are you sure about this Jennie?
Jennie: Well so long as I can stay here without being seen or heard by anyone at all, then it'll just have to do, now won't it?
Brian: I'm just concerned for you is all.
Jennie: *sigh* I know Brian, but just what else am I gonna do? I'm 500 feet tall now, there isn't really anywhere else I can be able to go without being seen by anyone.
After that, Brian knew she had a good enough point. When she was in the city, she was the tallest thing there. She certainly couldn't hide there no matter how she tried to. Brian then looked back up at her and noticed that she was looking down at the ground, she had a depressed look on her face. She then shed a single tear as she continued to sit there, looking down towards the water.
Brian: Hey don't cry sweetie, I'm still here with you.
Jennie: *sniff* I know Brian, it's just...I don't wanna be 500 feet tall anymore if everybody's gonna just hate me and try killing me, like those cops did back in the city. You saw just how everybody else in the city ran away from me when you entered the city earlier. What am I gonna do?
Brian stayed completely silent right after this. Despite all that he was doing for her just by being there with her, he couldn't come up with a good enough answer for her question at all. He stood there by his car (which Jennie had also brought along with Brian) and just looking down towards the ground, trying his best to think of something he could do for her, but nothing came to mind.
Eventually he just gave up and walked over towards Jennie, he then gave her a hug. Jennie was confused by this, she looked down towards where he was and Brian told her...
Brian: I'm sure we'll think of something for this sooner or later...
Jennie smiled at this, she then lowered her hand and started rubbing the top of Brian's head gently with her finger. She was so glad to have a friend like Brian with her and was also glad that the two of them were now dating each other (as she had always liked Brian much in the same way he felt about her), but still she felt dreadfully nervous inside about what the future had in store for the both of them...

True, but I'm not say there may not be a chance that Godzilla could never exist in the same world as her, just that there may not be a chance of seeing these two together...
