And yes, I do tend to be quite picky about details. I'm afraid that I've never really learned to properly read and write crochet patterns, though.

I just make it up as I go along, usually. I know how increasing and decreasing works, and I know that to make something bend I just have to double crochet on one side and single on the other. So I just use those concepts to get the yarn to do what I want it to.

Oh wow, absolutely gorgeous! I've been mulling over the idea of crochetting Discord, but oooh, those jointed legs and those wings... Lovely. Even the ruffles where the fur/skin changes color. Amazing job!
