Description
Watercolor, touched up with acrylics. This is a gift for my favorite teacher.
And how can you not adore Charlie Chaplin?
I am really frustrated with all the mistakes in this. Particularly the face. But I just had to accept it as "close enough" and/or "expressive" and move on. I don't think I'll fix anything else because when I do I tend to make things worse.
Smile.

Hahaha, I heard about that! Barnes probably has all Chaplin memorabilia known to man. Do you have a photo of yours? I heard it was colorful and really awesome.
And thank you.

That's an awesome reference! Wish I could have seen it.
I wonder what my friend was talking about . . . she said it was more abstract and colorful. Haha.

hahah Yeah I have no clue what she was referring to. Maybe someone else did a painting for him. I feel bad though..two Charlie Chaplin and no Buster Keaton, I may do a Buster Keaton for him.

That would be nice. I was trying so hard to think of something other than Chaplin. But I have a limited imagination. And I didn't know how big a fan he was of Marlon Brando.

Marlon Brando would have been great!! I think you should do that for him! He would love it..I remember Mr Barnes admiring Brando's acting skills so I believe he would love a piece of Brando.

Great work. I'm liking the effect you've just to outline the painting with the rough edges..
