☁ My painting of the transformation of an umbrella into a jellyfish. The blue background represents both the sky and the ocean.☁ This is my first official attempt at drawing bubbles/jellyfish/umbrellas - it was quite an experimental piece, lol.
☁ Mixed media: acrylic paint, water color, markers, gel pens.
☁ this piece was included in my 2016 ap portfolio.

I was given the word "Animal" so I chose this one for the jelly fish! :]
I really love the vibrant color in this, especially in the most colorful jelly fish at the top/center of the page. The detail on the tentacles at the bottom is also very striking and I love the contrasting white along the edges! :]
The transparency of the jelly fish and bubbles looks like it was a fun challenge and I imagine that took a lot of work! I don't ever work in color with physical mediums so I can't really imagine how much time it would take to do it myself.
This is a really fun and creative idea and it looks like you have a lot of that going on in your other pieces too! Great work! :]
