I thought it was an adorable story and this is an adorable image! ^_^ I really like this pairing, and the image has the same sweet feel that you get from the couple in the story.

Now that is just sweet. I remember reading the story when it first came out and thinking: Swoop certainly seems to care more of Arcee than either Hot Rod or Springer ever did. And personally, I think Swoop deserves that sort of loving.
This is a lovely piece that could stand on it's own, but is made even lovelier when you know the story behind it.

*nods* I agree. When I read the story I thought that Swoop was definetly a better choice than the other two. I had originally thought Springer was cool, at least in the movie. But during the third season he came off as a bit of a jerk to me. And Hot Rod... well, he's a bit too imature for her as Hot Rod, and he's too stressed out as Rodimus...

Agree with you on your assessment of Springer. He needs a femme who can slap some sense into him. And Hot Rod... Honestly, he needs a mother, not a girlfriend.

i always thought it was neat that autobots were robots that turned into vehicles but the dinobots were dinosaurs that turned into robots
