First of all, I'd like to give a shout out to K3RI1 . This commission batch order was deemed as "special" because it wasn't a normal order. During some financial issues while at uni and still having to pay bills buy food ect. K3RI1 offered to order some commissions from me to help keep me a float. It was about 1yr and a half ago now and I'm only just getting to her order and she's not once complained, asked about them or wanted a refund. She trusted I would get to them and make the wait worth it. I'd like to say it has been since my pixel skills have improved since then so I hope she likes her orders.

Stationary journal doll commission for K3RI1 of their character Emerson [1 of 5]

Ok now to the artwork. Emerson is a character that appears in K3RI1 's kerii komik a lot as the narrator and is rather theatrical. With that in mind I saw this as an opportunity to experiment with poses as such and decided to have him holding the microphone. This is the first real time I've pixelated such an angle for the head and the lifted paw angles I chose to try out. I'm very happy with the out come. This is an example of being able to pixel a pose that i can't actually draw very well because the detail is what ruins it but there is no details in pixel work. Also because it was stationary it allowed me to add more details in the pixel work, such as highlights. Emerson also has a metal bottom jaw which was interesting to try to pixelate and make look metal but i think it turned out pretty well.
