The supermarkets have banned plastic bags here in Queensland, I think it might be nationwide. Many shops don't supply them now. they ask if you need a bag.Β

We do still have plastic but the are degradable...........not sure if this is true but they are very flimsy. Mostly I take a basket and put everything in it.

Yes, they yes use the degradable here too. I keep a bag in the car, but, living on the Island, most of my shopping is done online
