His eyes are always like that. XD it's a bit more unusual, but some dolls come with "sleeping" or "dreaming" eyes.. usually they're modified versions of ones with open eyes :3

I love* the color scheme in this. He has such paletones to him...then the purple contrasting with the yelowish hue of his skin...wow...very well thought out. Amazing work
