Finally colored!!! This took a way long time, but I'm decently happy with it. Yay, Jenphi can color!!! I'm pretty bad at coloring on the computer, but I'm getting over my backwardsness...Alucard apparently has black eyebrows, according to Ayami Kojima's depictions of him.. but giving him black eyebrows here made him look like Groucho Marx, so I scrapped it. Besides, doesn't that mean he dyes his hair?? Wait, it was black for Castlevania 3... and short... *gasps!* Alucard DOES dye his hair!!!!! o.O!!!
Original drawing in pen on sketchbook paper. Coloring done in the GIMP with a MOUSE. Took 8-12 hours I think. I wasn't really keeping track. ^_^;; The pattern for Maria's sash is from [link] because I was too lazy to drag out my costume and scan the fabric I used for my own sash.
Expect more Castlevania art forthcoming. There's a lot of it in my head.
Anyway, please comment and let me know what you think! I know I need to improve so let the crits fly! ^_^ I was also wondering: should I put her right foot in there? She'd be bending her knee quite a bit, but it might look cute and girly... what do you think?

He doesnt dye his hair actully. His hair turns long and white from an over 300 year slumber. Talk about a beauty sleep right guys?

I love it, great capture of emotions... Alucard looks rather calm, although, you can still see the longing... while Maria looks so sad... good job.
