Description
This image was thought to be the main promo image for my upcoming Female Iray Body Jewels, but for DAZ it's too much skin unfortunatly. Damn, I really have a problem promoting these.
Anyway, this is Stephanie 4, hair by 3DCelebrity, staff by DM, rendered in DAZ Studio 4.9 Iray with postwork for the background in Photoshop.

I'm so glad to hear that you like this image and the Jewels. But if I ever will make something for G3F in that direction, I don't know, to be honest. I don't want to repeat myself and I'm not sure if I can top what I once made.

They simply have new guidelines at DAZ now that don't allow showing any kind of "pasties" anymore on real skin in store images.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having those issues. It looks like a great update for a great product.
Did Daz redo the main image for the original Jewels and Tears V4 to comply with the new rules, then? That looks like it's mostly the same image, but tightened to a portrait view. While a full body view really would be better, if they don't object to that type of portrait view, maybe you can do something like that with a different character, or a different view on the same character, to keep it from being confusing to customers.
I am surprised that Daz didn't ask you to redo it with a more recent character, though. I think they're being moderately hypocritical with the "no breast or crotch pasties" rule -- the main promo for the Daz Original product Dragon Queen for G3F is ... not really in line with that new rule, let's say, and Body Jewels has considerably more coverage than that (it's literally not possible for Dragon Queen to comply with that rule in any way) -- but it would actually make sense for them to want a G3F/G2F compatible product to have one of them in the main promo, rather than S4.

Thank you V, I indeed planned to have a similar view as in the original promo shots, but this is not possible anymore due to the new politics. I think they are not afraid of the older products because they are burried under all the new stuff and not that visible to the current viewers and customers. What worries and bothers me is in which direction this develops - and what's next? No genitals anymore like on Hivewire becasue 3D figures don't have to have them?
Anyway, I'm sad, but it is as it is. The new promo image is finished, it's not a beauty shot, but it will do.

In terms of getting around the Daz restriction, I agree that covering her up up defeats the purpose. You might be able to wiggle it, though, by adjusting the pose so her left arm covers a bit more of her breasts. If they don't go for that, you could use something from your PlateZ series to "cover" some bits... and it's good cross-promotion.

Yep. I did a whole journal post about the product I lost owing to it having pasties in it, which they no longer allow. Ended up doing it as a freebie instead since it was just a very small outfit.

I thought I had the perfect main picture for these jewels and now have to take the challenge to do it all over, still not sure in which direction this will go. Possibly those damn grey statues wearing patterns.

It's hard to know what else to do with that particular restriction. Maybe a second skin bodysuit?

That would be easy because the Jewels use the Geometry Shells, but I won't change the design only because it's not appropriate for a 'browsing at work' safe shop anymore. It's in the nature of theses jewels to enhance the body and skin, not to cover it.

Double standard much???! This is a wonderful and respectful rendering of a female human body, too much skin - no, as others are saying, there more skin on other works promoted there.
And why are people afraid of skin - we all have it!

Vielen Dank, Sabine. Und jaaa, tatsächlich hat DAZ dieses Bild als Promo abgelehnt, wegen zu viel Haut im Oberbereich, ist halt kein Bra, 'nur' Pasties. Jetzt hab ich ein Problem, weil das schon die maximale Variante der Jewels ist!

Naja, mal ganz ehrlich, man kann es wirklich auch übertreiben.... Steph sieht sensationell aus und jugendfrei ist das ganze auch. Falls es Daz noch nicht aufgefallen sein sollte, wir alle haben Brust und selbige nur 100%ig verhüllt zu zeigen ist kein Vorzeigebeispiel für Seriosität.
