Description M7 Phooshooting Poses - those are the original promo images, DAZ declined them because the brief was too sexy - it was modelled after Italian designer Gian Gianni: www.giangianni.com/products/co…
We know that we don't have a chance against mass production, even with high quality and high precision poses. And now we even lost the chance for sexy promo images because of new DAZ guidelines where showing tits and ass in any imaginable slut wear on females is ok but no sexy designer briefs for males.
Anyway - take a look, maybe you like the poses: www.daz3d.com/michael-7-photos…
Thanks for viewing.

On the other hand it could also happen that customers want to buy these panties also and they are not available from DAZ. But yoiu're right, it makes obviously a difference to show a girl in a small bikini instead of a muscled man in small briefs. Maybe one reason, why they also changed Superman's costume. American prudeness.

But ... Have you think about to add some guns and holster to that briefs. I'm sure, they will love it then

You're right of course, customers could maybe get confused seeing that brief or shirt and can't find those items anywhere.
And yes, maybe that option with guns and holsters would have solved the problem.

It's really time for a new Malerotica DAZ is based in Utah, very christian part and base of the mormons in the United States, what can you expect? (On other hand I know about some videos of mormons .. better change the subject )

I havn't expected something else, to be honest. What makes me worry and angry is that they apply double standards so obviously. It's on the edge to discrimination.

I bought these poses even without the sexy underwear poses. DAZ3D's position on males is somewhat awkward. They now make males more than ever before but then they still can not imagine a scene with sexy males, maybe sooner or later they will understand, maybe they won't, we'll see. What angers me the most is that their latest male (Genesis 3 male) has for the first time a believable modeled penis, but no PA can sell specific morphs or textures for it at DAZ3D. I know you have some textures ready but no real place to sell these, it's just a pity.

Thank you Erdehel for your continued support, it's really much appreciated. And for the penis problem, well that's only partly true. You can sell such stuff at DAZ, combined only (and that's a first limitation) to a full character, but (and this is a second limitation) you can't mention or even show it to the customers, who would want to pay for stuff that he doesn't know of? Taking this into account and that it is a lot more work and effort and would cost more than a usual character, it's no wonder that as good as none of all the nowadays countless various PAs at DAZ have ever done this. It's not worth the hassle.

I was aware of both limitations and that's exactly what I meant with being unable to sell such stuff at DAZ3D. It can be done but none should know   At a time I considered trying to make some textures and specially some displacement/normal maps myself but I was kept back from that when you told us you tried and that you only had good results on the HD version... that we as simple costumers can't have. Apparently people at renderotica came to the same conclusion. We have morphs there but no textures. Luckily we can still have some good results with your older work for M4 gens, Ulf gens or Adzan gens.

Yes indeed, at least we have those to get some variety into our renders.

It is a shame that these weren't the promos.  I looked at the set this morning and thought, "It is nice, but not enough to make me part with my money."  I look at these images and think, "I have to have that set.  These are hot!"  After having seen these images, I will probably go back and buy it whereas I would have waited for it to go on some special sale otherwise.  Feel free to share this information with DAZ.  I spend quite a bit of money with them, but admittedly less this year than in 2014 or 2015.  They changed their sales model this year too.  Coincidence?  I think not.  If they are in the business of making money for themselves and the artists they represent, then they would be wise to shift their narrow-minded view of decency.  There is indecent and there is sexy.  The two are not one in the same.

I'm too not sure where this will be leading to, to be honest. Maybe right now, in their current position, it may be a good decision for them to turn in this direction, but if it is a wise decision, we will see.
