This really looks more like a proper painting! The coloring and how the hair looks painted on with very intentional strokes of a brush. It's really lovely.

Jetzt muss ich grad an einen Raum in einem Barockschlößchen in Franken denken, der komplett mit irgendwelchen nautischen Elementen dekoriert war, das Licht und die Atmosphäre erinnern mich total daran.
