but but but...uuhhh..... I got no clue. You should just tell me. however, I will make a guess...Lake Burley Griffin I'm guessing, looking over towards Rydges and the ANU...but I'm most probably wrong.

its probably Sydney or Melbourne because it is, of course, NOT Canberra...there is just a slanty building...and I'm stupid...and shaddup... it's because of that building and the lake and...ah fuck...I got no excuse. Leave me alone...I'm only little and stupid and don't know anything.

if u look closely at the building to the right of the fisherman, you should be able to see a dead giveaway

hrmmm.... okay!!!!! Shall have to take a look for this place...from the bridge of course...
have you ever climbed it? you totally should! it's awesome fun! And the view is amazing!!! if you do ever do it, ask for Richard Iervasi as your climb leader... he's awesome...

haha, my brother has a gift voucher from his godmother for his 21st... i'll advise him of said climb leader!!
i've never been and i havent really given it much thought cause i cant take a camera anyway

LunaNero In reply to Jer-Trow [2007-02-02 16:23:29 +0000 UTC]
no...you can't take a camera, but the view is worth just having a look at. Anyways, after the climb you can go up the pilons and shoot from there if you want.
And if you get Richard, you can ask him to take shots for you and he'll do it...mostly. Tell him you know me...he's my uncle...and the best one on their team of leaders.

oooh sweet!! can i give him my camera and when i want to take the photo, leave it strapped to him but take it myself? haha

LunaNero In reply to Jer-Trow [2007-02-04 12:47:20 +0000 UTC]
well....Bridge Climb gives him a camera to take up there anyway and it's pre attached. Be the first one in the line (it's single file the WHOLE way) and yell at him when you want it maybe...lol.
Don't know how you'd go about getting the shots off him though...they generally are uploaded straight to the computer and printed if you want to buy them, but I think maybe I could ask him to burn them to disc when he gets around to burning the shots he took of me and him climbing... It all depends on the company though...sometimes they're weird...

okay....but make sure to make the time someday...take Rach up even...sunset climbs are just beautiful...*winkwinknudgenudge*
And don't give me some "I'm scared of heights" crap because it REALLY doesn't look that far down when you look down and mostly, you look out at the Harbour, and the city. My aunt's petrified of heights and she loved it.

how do i do them or how did i do this one?
this one specifically I extended the canvas by 100ish pixles (the pic was 8mp) and then i used a grid on photoshop to count 20px from the edge of the picture, put a guide, counted a further 20px put another guide, then i selected the section within the guides and made a gradiant from blue to yellow.. if u are desperate i can make a tute?

No wuckas B1 You know what? I think of you every morning on the way to work - since I drive by a) your work, b) your street and c) lots of photogenic places, including 'The Trees'! This morning I was thinking about our long-mentioned shoot, and I just wish I could shoot with you heaps, 'cos I could learn so much from you. I need someone to teach me in person, 'cos it's so hard teaching yourself from reading and I am a bit of a dummy, and not the most technamological (hehe!) female around
You're one of my photography heroes Jez
