Jeremy was a character I created back in '00 for two separate 'verses- a failed fanfic of mine as well as the current Archieverse.

Future Mobius: Occurs directly after StH:50

Jeremy is the decendant of Sally after she marries Geoffrey St. John. This was brought about after the loss of Sonic from the final battle between he and Robotnik. The FF's found Sonic's body amongst the rubble but because of the mass devestation had no way of repairing his broken body. So after finding an old stasis tube in Robotnik's leftover labs they placed Sonic in it and used his billionth ring to power it. They then sunk it in the old underground Knothole until they could find a means to revive the fallen hero. But the use of Robotniks Ulitmate Annihilator had weakened the zone barriers, allowing the floating Island and Echidnaopolis back into the present reality. The echidnas this time though were quite aggressive and imperialistic and essentially took over the damaged realm, ruling as its superior race. Many years after the coup two escaping Mobians stumbled upon the old Knothole reserve and awakened Sonic. Sonic then, after some personal adventures meets up with Jeremy who is part of the resistance in the Echidna controlled Mobotropolis, along with three other echidnas, one of which is the descendant of Knuckles they seek to reclaim Mobo. Jeremy's sword is actually Maximillian's sword, handed down and reforged. The crown is yet unfound and Jeremy seeks it believing it will help free his people.

Present Day Mobius:

JA is the older brother of Elias (by 5 years) and Sally. Before Robotnik took over Jeremy bonded with the Source of All to determine if he was to inherit the thrown from Maximillian. The Source was reluctant. It needed Jeremy to prove himself worthy since he had no experience to his name... his heart was not enough. In needing so Jeremy was allowed a partial bond, therefore a sword was crafted like it was for his father, but no crown, that he would receive upon fulfillment of his duty. Just like the Source articles that Max wields, Jeremy's sword has magical properties. Jeremy's sword can reflect or nullify evil magic, and this proved useful in his adventures in the wilderness. He said goodbye to his parents and went out to clean up leftover warlords and pockets of resistance from the Great War, and generally help the populace any way he could. After Robotnik took over, Jeremy found himself on a new quest and proceded to quell as much of the new evil as possible, all the while working his way back home to find out what befell his father, mother, and kingdom. Finding the city overtaken and transformed, he knew to look to the secrets the Acorn family had kept for its entire lineage. After exhausting some avenues that had succumbed to Robotnik, Jeremy turned toward Knothole. And upon arrival found the brunt of the resistance. There was an, albeit, uncomfortable (re)union between Jeremy and Sally, but nerves were soon overcome and Jeremy finally was able to reunite with his father and mother. From then on he has aided the resistance against Eggman and his further evil plots.

My first real attempt at a technical rendition of my namesake. Obvious hindsight errors, I know (head too big, perspective a little effed), but overall I'm still very happy with it to this day.
