Description
I color comics Monday through Friday, but on the weekends (and some nights) I take some time to do something outside of that artistically. Sometimes I paint on canvas, sometime I do photography. This weekend I did a painting collaboration using David Yardin's very cool commission he posted here on DA back in 2010 ([link] ). I was taken by the iconic imagery and solid composition and thought I would like to use it as the foundation for a painted work. It was a lot of trial and error, but in the end I learned a lot and found some new tricks I can use in my everyday work. I would love to work more in this painted style though.Related content

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the Hulk from years back. I'd have to pick him. My wife would go with Wolverine though. My youngest son would too since it's who he's named after (Logan).
Thanks!

Yep. 100% Photoshop on my end. David did his drawing traditionally on paper though. Thanks!
